MR Shipping was established in 2010 in Melbourne, Australia and offers shipbroking services in the dry cargo market from Handy to Panamax sizes.

With five competitive shipbrokers, plus three support staff, MR Shipping aims to provide a reliable and timely broking service for the chartering requirements of its clients by drawing on years of experience gained from the industry.

We interface daily on a world-wide basis with owners, operators and charterers.

Each of our clients enjoys a bespoke service provided with discretion and integrity.

Our in-depth knowledge of the global freight markets combined with the knowledge and expertise garnered over many years involved in the industry provides our clients with a unique perspective.

We provide expert advisory and shipbroking services in the handy to panamax sector of the global dry cargo market.

Our activities cover various commodities such as fertiliser, alumina, salt, concentrates, scrap, steels, agri-prods amongst others. We are active in both the voyage and timecharter markets on a short -medium – long term outlook as the client requires.

MR Shipping focuses on a few select clients in order to offer maximum freight support – in essence a niche brokerage service.

Small is beautiful as the long term relationships we enjoy with some of the worlds largest international mining and commodity traders testify. We are happy to provide references as requested.

Being a small and nimble broking house brings significant advantages for our client base.
